Cooking maestro and Queer Eye hottie, Antoni Porowski, will be releasing his very cookbook in Spring 2019.
The book will feature about 100 recipes all designed by the TV star. He says the recipes will be easy for all people to make, no matter their level of cooking skills.
‘I could not be more thrilled to be writing about the recipes I love and think are essential to any novice home cook, professional, and somewhere in between,’ Porowski said in a statement to EW.
Porowski signed with Rux Martin of Houghton Mifflin Harcourt to publish the book. It’s a working relationship he is proud to be part of.
‘I’m also truly honored to be published by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt: the talented and passionate Rux Martin, for whom I have such tremendous respect. We immediately bonded on the importance of hors-d’oeuvres and our mutual love for Vermont, and I can’t wait to publish this book and share my personal recipes with the world,’ he said.
He became renowned for his simple recipes on the show – including a gourmet grilled cheese – and his love of avocados.
Porowski is also one of the most controversial members of the rebooted Queer Eye cast. Some writers accused him of not being able to cook, but Porowski has defended his chops in the kitchen.
The Polish-Canadian hottie has extensive experience including working for original Queer Eye cooking guy, Ted Allen, on Chopped.
Queer Eye is a reboot of the original early 2000s reality TV show Queer Eye for a Straight Guy. The show’s star are five gay experts on different topics from food to culture and make over a man’s life in each episode. Netflix renewed the rebooted series for a second season which will air next year.
