Pride in London’s grand climax is just days away, with the parade taking place on Saturday 8 July.
The day brings with it an array of amazing parties, serving glitter and grit in equal measure.
But only one holds the distinction of being Pride In London’s official afterparty…
Beyond Once Upon a Time Powered by Scruff will take place after the action on Saturday 8 July, kicking off at 10pm at the Coronet Theatre.
The epic blowout follows last year’s successful instalment at the same venue [pictured above].
What is it?
The JJ Clark and Alfonso Cinque-hosted clubnight will be themed around fairytales – hence the hot guys styled like Aladdin and Maleficent in the marketing materials.
According to organizers, the party will ‘take you on a journey into a mystical realm where everyone is welcome, harmonious and unicorns roam free over the rainbow…’
What else can I expect?
The night will be soundtracked by Steve Pitron, Tony English, Lee Harris and Michel Mizrahi in the Main Palace. Meanwhile, Massimo Paramour, Nic Fisher and Mahdame Crystal MC will take over the dungeon.
Show productions and costumes will come courtesy of Ashley Swift and Martin Rab.
Where is it?
The Coronet Theatre can be found at 28 New Kent Road, SE1 6TJ.
This 2,600 capacity venue in South London is just a one-minute walk from Elephant and Castle Underground Station.
What time does it end?
The party will last through the night until 6am.
What else do I need to know?
Beyond Once Upon a Time will be followed by Beyond Utopia – in other words, the afterparty after the afterparty.
It will open at 3am on Sunday 9 July and take place at Fire Club on South Lambeth Road. Brace yourselves.
