Congresswoman Maxine Waters shut down Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin in the most satisfying way.
In a viral exchange, Waters asks Mnuchin to get straight to the point on where her response to a letter is.
She starts: ‘Are you familiar with the 23 May letter I sent to you, along with several of my Democratic colleagues on this committee?’
After he tries to filibuster his answer, she interrupts: ‘Reclaiming my time! Reclaiming my time!’
A heated back-and-forth ensues, but the congresswoman comes out on top every time.
And the internet is absolutely loving it.

Maxine Waters bites back at Trump
Maxine Waters was at the one Resist March to call for the impeachment of President Donald Trump.
‘Impeach 45! Impeach 45!’ Waters chanted along with the tens of thousands in the crowd who had marched from Hollywood to West Hollywood on 11 June.
‘He is not my President. He is not your President.’
She continued: ‘If he thinks he can mess with the LGBT community, he better look at what happened right here in West Hollywood.’
‘You deny, you disrespect, and you will find that there are people who have the courage to organize and to take back whatever needs to be taken back.
‘We resist this president because he stands for the worst of everything…I know that you know you have the power!
She finished: ‘Stay woke!’
