Yes, we’re talking about one of the most iconic lines in Britney Spears’s songs. ‘It’s Britney, bitch’, aka the opening line on Gimme More, has just given us another reason to love it.
It all started a few weeks ago. A fan went to see the queen of pop, currently on a world tour, perform in Atlantic City and screamed ‘Who is it?!’ before that very line.
The Borgata Casino fell into silence for a few seconds, before Britney burst into a laugh. The rest is pretty much history.

Now at every stop of her Piece of Me tour, people scream ‘Who is it?’ and Britney just goes along with it.
At one gig in Florida, she had the whole casino ask her the now viral question.

Was Zachary Gordon, the fan who started it all, aware he was about to get viral? Probably not.

Fans should have asked ‘Who is it?!’ before the singer introduced Andy Cohen when he joined her on stage at City Radio Hall on 24 July.
Britney, in fact, appeared to forget Cohen’s name.
Following the hilarious incident, the Watch What Happens Live host said on SiriusXM’ Radio Andy: ‘It’s why I have no expectation that Madonna should know who I am. I am a mortal and Britney is Britney, don’t you think?’

Now dubbed the ‘queen of answering questions’, Britney will head to the UK this Saturday 4 August to perform at Brighton and Hove Pride.
One of the biggest UK Prides events, Brighton is the first place in Europe to see her Piece of Me show.
Let’s wait for her 8:50pm set to find out whether British fans are ready to follow the trend started by Gordon.
