RuPaul’s Drag Race season two winner Tyra Sanchez
Fans are reporting RuPaul’s Drag Race winner Tyra Sanchez to the FBI for making an alleged threat against DragCon.
The season two winner posted a Facebook status that has triggered security concerns about the event in Los Angeles on 12-13 May.
She wrote: ‘Fair warning: DO NOT attend RuPaul’s DragCon on May 12, 2018. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.’
Did Tyra Sanchez ‘threaten’ DragCon?
Many have responded to Tyra’s message believing it to be a threat.
Others have noted the message is ambiguous enough to be in reference to any possible outcome.
Despite it not being an explicit threat, fans have said they have referred her post to the FBI and encouraged others to do so.
One commented, linking to the FBI tips page, saying: ‘Report this threat. Too many people say “someone else will report it”, “someone else has already done it”, “I would just be wasting their time”.
‘This is how disasters strike, this is how people die, this is how civil liberties are ripped away from everyone.’
It comes as DragCon has banned Tyra from the event for an alleged claim of threatening violence against other queens.

Last September, Sanchez slammed Phi Phi O’Hara for saying ‘Raven was robbed’ of the season 2 title.
Sanchez recently posted a video of in which some claimed she was threatening violence against Phi Phi and Tatianna.
‘When you see Ms. Phi Phi and Ms. Mother Fucking Tati’s ass stretched out on the motherfucking ground, you will know it was me. Yeah, I may not have physically did it, but it will be my doing. Remember that shit, bitch.’
Phi Phi responded, tweeting at DragCon: ‘There should be no booth for anyone who threatens hate/violence!’
DragCon then emailed Tyra, asking her to sincerely apologize for her behavior.
They wrote: ‘As it currently stands, we cannot allow you to come to DragCon (in any form). We need to see you make a sincere public apology.
‘This apology has to make it clear that you do not condone violence against another person (including other queens) and that you will in no way encourage others to act violently (or otherwise inappropriately).’
The queen has repeatedly insisted she does not advocate violence. .
Tyra responded: ‘Multiple times I stated that violence is not the answer and that queens of my upbringing sometimes express ourselves differently than most. I understand you may not understand this as you have only appropriated our lives, our attitudes and our mannerisms.”
She continued: ‘You can continue to push your narrative that I’m some angry black queen, but you and I know that is simply untrue.
‘If you want to remove me from DragCon because of some drag queen drama then by all means remove me.’
Trolls often target Tyra with racist and abusive messages on social media. Following the DragCon announcement, Tyra deleted her Twitter account.
