Nike released a sneak peek of their new BeTrue collection, just in time for Pride season.
Since 2012, Nike release a special collection as a nod to the LGBTI community.
Robert Goman, LBGT Network Leader at Nike said: ‘The key for us was to create something that people could unite around to show their support for LGBTQ athletes.
‘Sporting your rainbow in the gym or on a run became a way to feel like you belonged to something larger – you were connected to being “out” or being an ally.
‘The rainbow has and always will be incorporated into the BETRUE product in some way,’ he said.
The collection also showcases clothes, including tank tops with a rainbow unicorn, the classic Equality t-shirt and rainbow socks.
This year, shoe designs feature the first eight-color HD rainbow Swoosh design.
Nike also incorporates the triangle in some designs, to commemorate the pink triangles gay men had to wear in Nazi concentration camps.
Last year, splashes of pink filled shoe designs, as a symbol of LGBTI liberation.
According to Nike, the brand has provided approximately $2.5 million in financial and in-kind support to LGBTQ causes since 2012.
You can buy the collection from 1 June.
