Gay Star News is building our editorial team

Written by gaytourism

We are looking for great journalists to join one of the world’s best LGBTI media teams.

You will get to be creative and help LGBTI people around the world.

If you think you may not ‘fit in’ to LGBTI media, think again. We want our team to reflect the diversity of our amazing community. And we are well known as one of the friendliest teams in the LGBTI business world.

About you and the job

We need you to be an experienced print or digital journalist with a passion for LGBTI people.

If you have video presenting or production experience, that’s a big plus – if not, that’s OK provided you are keen to learn.

A big part of the interview will be getting your ideas on developing compelling content aimed at an LGBTI audience. Gay Star News is already respected around the world, but we want you to help us take our reputation even further.

Part of your job will be to work with Gay Star News clients, helping to craft content to go out to our audience. But mostly, you’ll be free to develop independent content to inspire, inform and entertain.

What do you get out of it?

This is your chance to earn a decent salary working full time in LGBTI media in our London-based office. (We are sorry, but we are not looking to offer these roles in a part time capacity.).

This is a creative, fun environment, working with people who are really passionate about what they do. We all work together as one team, so you’ll have plenty of support.

Furthermore, our staff tend to love it here and stay.

And finally, there’s lots of opportunity for growth. GSN is expanding rapidly and we expect that expansion to be even faster in future years. This is a place to build a great career.
