It’s World Naked Gardening Day today (5 May) and we’re showcasing the very best photos the internet has to offer.
Hundreds of people took to social media to show off their, er, enthusiasm for gardening in the best way possible.
The Royal Botanic Garden of Sydney even tweeted a hilarious video about participating in the day appropriately.
Curating manager of the Royal Botanic Garden Dale Dixon said in the video: ‘Guess what Saturday 5 May is this year? It is Naked Gardening Day!
‘You’ve gotta be really careful if you’re going to garden in the nude,’ he warns. ‘Firstly, if you are planning to do this, we advise please don’t turn up at the Royal Botanic Gardens naked because you will be sent home.
He then said: ‘If you are going to do this, we advise that you do it in your back yard. And ironically, please use all of the appropriate safety gear.’
And last but not least, Dixon warns: ‘Look after those dangly bits!’
