Gus Kenworthy and Adam Rippon just kissed at the GLAAD Awards held at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles last night (12 April).

The Winter Olympic athletes locked lips while giving a joint speech at the awards ceremony.

During Adam’s portion of the speech, Gus gives him what looks like an unexpected kiss.

Fans of the Winter Olympic best friends took to social media to gush over the kiss.

One replied: ‘Can we talk about how the reaction to the kiss was just adorable?’

Another said: ‘I actually could watch this gif forever.’

Rippon: ‘A little gay child gets his wings’

During a solo speech, Rippon also joked about pop mega star Britney Spears. Speaking on her iconic runway videos on Instagram, Adam said: ‘Every time Britney does a runway walk on Instagram, a little gay child gets his wings.’

Rippon and Kenworthy also got to meet the Toxic singer backstage.

In a photo of the three of them together, Kenworthy captioned it: ‘I’m a slave 4 u Britney Spears.’

They finally met after a couple of months of tweeting each other.

Kenworthy told Elite Daily about his training regime for the games. What’s his go-to song to get his adrenalin flowing before a ski run? Gimme More by Britney Spears!

Then the Toxic singer tweeted Kenworthy while he was competing in the Games.

She said: ‘So proud of #TeamUSA!! Hey Gus Kenworthy, gimme, gimme more on the slopes today!! #ItsGusBitch’

He responded: ‘Oh. My. God. Was really not prepared to wake up to this. Not sure how I’m gonna ski today because I’m LITERALLY dead now but I’m gonna go that extra mile for you, Britney!’
