A heterosexual, cisgender hiker’s constitutional challenge to an allegedly LGBTQ-only federal trail maintenance project should be dismissed, a judge said.

Magistrate Judge Stephanie S. Christensen, of the US District Court for the Central District of California, said in a Report and RecommendationWednesday that Jim L. Banks doesn’t have standing to bring his claims. Banks is seeking a court declaration that the project requirements were unconstitutional and an injunction against similar future projects.
