Jaden Smith has hit back at detractors who have criticised him for wearing a dress.
The 19-year-old son of Will and Jada Pinkett Smith is known for his fashion fluidity.
Over the last few years, the Karate Kid star has worn what he pleases and challenged gender stereotypes.
And, of course, the actor and singer has often stood up for himself in the face of stereotyped ideals.
Jaden Smith: If I wanna wear a dress then I will
On Sunday, the actor aired his grievances to those who have taken issue with him wearing a dress.
‘If I Wanna Wear A Dress, Then I Will, And That Will Set The New Wave,’ he defiantly wrote.

In January 2016, Smith famously wore a dress for a Vogue Korea shoot. He told GQ: ‘I don’t see man clothes and woman clothes.
‘I feel like people are kind of confused about gender norms. I feel like people don’t really get it.
‘I’m not saying that I get it, I’m just saying that I’ve never seen any distinction.’
And that’s just fine with his famous dad Will Smith.
‘What I do with my children, that I feel that the greatest gift that I can give my children is the freedom to be who they are,’ the Oscar-nominated actor told BET.
‘I feel like a lot of times, when I was growing up, I would see parents force a child to be what you want them to be.
‘As a parent, if it’s an oak tree, I want it to grow as an oak tree. I’m not gonna try to force it to be an apple tree.’
