A man has been arrested for responding to a 14-year-old on dating app Grindr.
KIMT3 News reports that Efram Ciavarelli, 20, made contact with the 14-year-old and arranged to meet with him.
The man, from Minnesota, is accused of going to the home of an unnamed youth in Rochester and having sex with him.
Ciavarelli reportedly told police that he thought the boy was above 16.

Following his arrest, Ciavarelli was charged with third-degree criminal sexual conduct and solicitation of a child through electronic communication.
Police say two juveniles who saw a strange vehicle outside the residence interrupted Ciavarelli’s encounter with the boy.
The pair reportedly grabbed a knife, went downstairs and found a naked older male in the bedroom.
Ciavarelli also faces charges relating to the possession of pornographic work featuring a minor.
