Niclas Ericsson and Yuka Taga will star alongside Moore.
The series coincides with the 200th anniversary of Mary Shelley’s iconic science fiction book.
Che Greyson is writing 0s and directing the project.
Giving people a chance
Moore is one of numerous trans actors in starring roles in the history-making Pose. The series focuses on the 1980s ball culture in New York City. Moore plays Angel, a ball performer and member of the House of Evangelista. She also has a romantic plot with Evan Peters’ married character Stan.
Moore, the other trans actors in the show, and the show’s focus on trans issues are proving why representation matters.
As Twitter user @BienSur_JeTaime aptly pointed out, simply getting a foot in the door breeds opportunities.
