Join our expanding global news team as one of our reporters and content creators.
You’ll have the support of our editorial team, but you’ll also have a lot of freedom to source stories, build your networks, and engage with an international audience.
We focus on the stories that matter to the global LGBTI community – everything from politics, equality, entertainment, and personal stories.
Our articles are published using WordPress, but we also create a lot of video and use a range of social platforms – whatever it takes to best convey the story and engage our global audience.
Ideally we’re looking for five shifts per week, including some weekend shifts.
The best candidates will have at least two years experience at a news site or newspaper and/or qualifications in journalism.
Gay Star News was established in 2012. With journalists around the world, we deliver 24-hour news coverage every day of the year.
