This hotel in Italy is the first of its kind to possess a RINA-approved endorsement of inclusion for members of the LGBTQ+ community. ”

The AITGL member praised this accomplishment, expressing that “tourism embraces inclusion and recognition for differences: applying the QueerVadis protocol requires a further commitment to a potential future of cooperation and a resounding selection of hospitality.” Giovanna Ceccherini, the Sales Manager of the Sonders and Beach Group, is in charge of the QueerVadis Diversity and Protocol initiatives. This program will be welcomed with open arms at the front entrance of the inaugural Italian hotel. This program, which is certified by RINA, brings the hospitality industry up to the current European requirements which are now necessary. QueerVadis provides certification for a world-wide protocol intended to foster hospitality within the LGBTQ+ tourism sector. An international tourist can be assured of a warm welcome at the Grand Hotel Adriatico, which is known across the world. In order to get the certification, the hotel adhered to the standards for providing excellent service to LGBTQ+ travelers. Over the course of four sessions throughout the year, a specialized certification path was implemented, resulting in the Grand Hotel Adriatico successfully emphasizing diversity, equity, and inclusivity topics.
