Clothing from the new ED by Ellen baby collection

Fans of Ellen Degneres will know that on top of being one of the world’s highest paid chat show hosts – and best-loved LGBTI advocates – she’s also a budding entrepreneur.

DeGeneres launched her ED by Ellen e-commerce site in 2015. It began by offering homeware and everyday items of clothing – much of it fairly gender neutral in style.

This week she unveiled the latest addition to the range: her first, dedicated baby line. The collection includes bibs, swaddles for wrapping the little ones, bathtime accessories, nursery furniture and mattresses, and baby clothing, including socks, onesies, tights, sweater and pants sets, among much more.

Much of the items are branded with the words ‘love’ or ‘made with love’.

‘I love to be swaddled’

‘Babies love to be swaddled and should always be surrounded by love and kindness,’ said DeGeneres in a statement.

‘I created my baby collection with that thought in mind. Each piece has a message of love and the line is filled with whimsical and fun pieces. I don’t have a baby but I love to be swaddled and you will too!’
