There For You

Martin and Troye smoulder for the camera in the There For You video

The intense expressions, the all-black ensembles, the ethereally beautiful eyes – we had to do a double take when we saw Troye Sivan and Martin Garrix’s video for their new single There For You.

In the brooding clip, Troye and Dutch DJ Martin look slightly like boyfriend twins, as they take in a sunrise near San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge.

There are ample close ups of the guys looking all kids of handsome, with Troye rocking dark nail polish for the vid.

The clip for the pumping but melancholic club track also features footage of an epic gig experience.

Teased throughout the year, including at Coachella, this is Troye’s first new track in almost 18 months.

Martin has previously scored hits with the likes of Usher and Dua Lipa.

Australian star Troye is the recipient of two GLAAD Media Awards. Firstly, in 2016 for Best Album for Blue Neighborhood.

Secondly, he won the prestigious Stephen F. Kolzak Award for his anti-homophobia efforts.

Troye released his debut album Blue Neighborhood to critical acclaim in 2015. He came out as gay in a YouTube video in 2013.

In 2015, openly gay UK singer Sam Smith raised eyebrows when he playfully Instagrammed about Troye, saying: ‘his voice does things to my body.’
